The foundation of the Saris Modular Hitch System (MHS), the MHS 3+1 Base works in conjunction with MHS Duo bike trays and accessories (sold separately) to create a versatile and dependable platform rack system for all your gear hauling needs.

- Base accommodates three MHS 1-Bike Duo Trays + one MHS 1-Bike Duo Add-On Bike Tray, sold separately
- Convenient rear of vehicle access with tilting base activated with easy-to-use outboard handle
- Compact storage on vehicle as base tilts up when not in use
- Saris Hitch Tighter System locks and secures rack to vehicle with rock-solid hitch connection
- Includes hitch lock plus additional 2 lock cores for use with MHS Accessories
- Fully assembled and easy to install on vehicle
