Why is it called Allant+ FS?

“Allant” comes from a French word meaning forward motion — something this bike is built for. Earlier Allant+ models were made for pavement and light gravel, but Allant+ FS brings that same smooth, flowing ride to rougher, more challenging terrain.

The “+” means it’s an e-bike, and “FS” stands for full suspension (front and rear).

Who is Allant+ FS designed for?

Allant+ FS is an e-SUV built for riders who want comfort, control, and versatility every day. It’s a great fit for commuting, cruising, or exploring — especially if your rides mix pavement, paths, and rougher terrain.

It’s ideal for riders who prefer a more upright position and want a smooth, stable ride while carrying gear, going longer distances, or just enjoying the journey.

What Allant+ FS models are available?

We offer Allant+ FS in two versions:
Allant+ FS R10
Allant+ FS R11

“R” stands for a rear-derailleur drivetrain.

The R10 features a reliable 10-speed mechanical drivetrain and a premium Suntour fork — making it a great way to get the full benefits of comfort, control, and full suspension.

The R11 steps things up with an electronic Shimano CUES drivetrain, including optional AutoShift, plus a high-performance Fox fork. It also adds upgraded lighting and a suspension dropper seatpost for even more comfort and capability.

Where can I ride Allant+ FS?

Allant+ FS is built for a wide range of terrain, from city streets to rough rural roads and light, non-technical trails. It’s just as comfortable on asphalt as it is on gravel, cobblestones, or worn, uneven pavement.

It’s not designed for technical trail riding — instead, it prioritizes comfort and control across mixed surfaces. If you want one bike that handles changing terrain with ease, this is it.

Is Allant+ FS good for long-distance or multi-day rides?

Yes. Allant+ FS is built to stay comfortable over long distances, with an upright riding position and full suspension that helps reduce fatigue on mixed terrain.

With a Bosch PowerTube 800 and the option to add a PowerMore 250, it offers plenty of range for bigger days. Add in its high load capacity and versatile rack system, and it’s well suited for multi-day trips with gear.

How does full suspension improve comfort on everyday roads?

Full suspension smooths out the constant bumps and vibrations you feel on real-world roads, like cobblestones, curbs, and rough pavement, reducing strain on your hands, back, and joints.

With both front and rear suspension working together with wide tires, Allant+ FS delivers a smoother, more stable ride without sacrificing efficiency. The result is less fatigue and more comfort — especially on longer rides, whether you’re in the city or out on rough backroads.

What’s the benefit of this full-suspension design?

Allant+ FS full-suspension design is built to deliver comfort without sacrificing stability, especially when you’re carrying gear or riding on rough surfaces. It helps maintain traction and predictable handling, even when the bike is fully loaded.

The rear air shock is easy to tune for different rider weights and preferences, and the custom-tuned Fox shock is dialed specifically for this bike to maximize comfort.

It also uses Trek’s ABP (Active Braking Pivot) design, with the pivot at the rear axle. That means the suspension stays active and consistent, whether you’re pedaling, braking, or riding over uneven terrain.

Does the full-suspension system need special maintenance?

Like any high-quality suspension, it benefits from regular care. Keep it clean, check it periodically, and follow recommended service intervals for the fork and rear shock.

Allant+ FS uses an air-based system, so setting the right pressure helps dial in comfort and ride feel.

Day to day, maintenance is similar to other premium e-bike components. For best performance and longevity, it’s a good idea to have it checked occasionally by a Trek dealer.

Why not just get a Powerfly+ EQ instead?

Both bikes have suspension and a rack, but they’re built for different rides.

Powerfly+ EQ is a mountain bike at heart. It has a more aggressive, sporty geometry and is designed for trail riding, with the option to carry gear when you’re off the trail.

Allant+ FS is a comfort-focused hybrid e-bike, with a more upright position and a smoother, more stable feel on everyday routes.

With Powerfly+, you go looking for rough terrain. With Allant+ FS, you don’t have to think twice about it.

Is a full-suspension e-bike less efficient than a hardtail? Will it reduce range?

Not really. Modern full-suspension systems are designed to be efficient, and on similar surfaces, range is typically very close to a hardtail.

Allant+ FS is tuned to minimize pedal bob, so most of your effort goes into forward motion. On rough terrain, added traction can even improve real-world efficiency by reducing wheel slip.

That said, you may ride it on more challenging terrain than you would with other bikes — so range can feel lower depending on where you go.

What battery does Allant+ FS use?

Allant+ FS comes equipped with a Bosch PowerTube 800 battery as standard.

Is Allant+ FS compatible with Bosch PowerMore?

Yes. Allant+ FS is compatible with the Bosch PowerMore 250 range extender.

It mounts to the top tube using a dedicated adapter and secures with the included strap. The compact battery weighs about 1.5kg and is a great option for extending your range on longer rides.

We recommend having it installed by a Trek dealer. The installation requires a 550mm cable (Bosch part number: BCH3923_550 EB12.120.045).

Can I mount a smartphone on the cockpit?

Yes. You can use the Bosch SmartphoneGrip, which replaces the Kiox display.

Alternatively, there are plenty of third-party mounts (like Quad Lock or SP Connect) that attach directly to the handlebar or stem.

Is there an app for Allant+ FS?

Yes. Allant+ FS connects with the Bosch eBike Flow app, letting you customize settings, track rides, and keep your system up to date.

Does Allant+ FS come with lights?

Yes. Allant+ FS comes equipped with front and rear lights, including a rear brake light for added visibility.

Can I customize the cockpit on Allant+ FS?

Yes. You can adjust the handlebar and stem to fine-tune fit and riding position.

A cable wrangler keeps everything neatly routed under the stem, making it easy to add accessories like a handlebar bag. If you need more reach, a longer 110mm stem is also available separately.

As always, check local regulations when replacing original components.

What are the mounts under the top tube for?

Allant+ FS features two mounting plates under the top tube (what we call the Accessory Tube) designed to make carrying gear easy.

They come standard on every bike and offer more flexibility than traditional bolt mounts. You can use straps or bolt-on accessories and adjust positioning to fit things like larger water bottles or other gear.

What’s the maximum load for the Accessory Tube?

There’s no specific weight limit. The top tube itself is just as strong as a traditional welded frame tube, and the mounting plates are designed to handle loads similar to standard accessory mounts.

As always, make sure your gear is securely attached and doesn’t interfere with handling.

What’s the maximum rack weight?

The rear rack can carry up to 27kg.

Keep in mind the total system weight limit of 160kg (bike, rider, and cargo combined).

Which bags are compatible with the rack?

Most panniers will fit the rack.

For the best fit, we recommend Ortlieb Back-Roller Classic panniers, other Ortlieb bags with the 3.1 system (with adapter), or Basil panniers with the Side Studs system (with adapter). For top mounting, MIK-compatible bags and accessories work best.

For the most stable ride, we recommend mounting bags on the sides rather than on top of the rack.

Why does the rack have wings?

The side “wings” make it easy to swap panniers from left to right without readjusting them.

They also help keep weight evenly distributed and create space between your bags, the frame, and the rear derailleur for better protection. Plus, they add extra mounting points for accessories like locks, pumps, or bottle cages.

Can I mount a child seat?

Yes. A child seat can be mounted to the rear rack using the MIK-HD system.

Be sure to follow the instructions in the Trek Owner’s Manual and from the child seat manufacturer. Always stay within the total system weight limit of 160kg (bike, rider, and cargo combined), and keep in mind that carrying a child is done at your own risk.

Can I mount a child seat on the front of the bike?

No. We don’t recommend mounting a child seat on the front of Allant+ FS.

Can I attach a bike trailer?

Yes. Allant+ FS is compatible with bike trailers.

Be sure to follow the instructions in the Trek Owner’s Manual and from the trailer manufacturer. Always stay within the total system weight limit of 160kg (bike, rider, and cargo combined), and use at your own risk.

How can I protect my Allant+ FS against theft with a tracker?

Allant+ FS is compatible with the Bosch ConnectModule, with a dedicated compartment built into the motor cover.

There’s also space in the motor cover for an Apple AirTag. For best results, we recommend having either option installed by a Trek dealer.

Which frame lock is compatible with Allant+ FS?

Allant+ FS is compatible with ring locks like the ABUS 4650XL or 4750XL.

These are available with either a retaining or non-retaining key, depending on your preference.

Note: Allant+ FS uses an ABUS X-Plus key for the battery lock, so you can order matching ABUS locks keyed alike for added convenience.

Can I mount a folding lock?

Yes. The Accessory Tube mounts under the top tube can hold a folding lock — or even a lock and a bottle at the same time.

We recommend options like the ABUS Bordo 6000 series.

Note: Allant+ FS uses an ABUS X-Plus key for the battery lock, so you can order matching ABUS locks keyed alike for added convenience.

Can I transport the Allant+ FS on a car rack?

Yes. Allant+ FS can be transported on a car rack.

Make sure to follow the Trek Owner’s Manual and your rack manufacturer’s instructions. Secure the battery cover with the included strap and consider removing the battery to reduce weight during transport.

Always stay within your rack’s weight limits and follow local regulations. Transport is at your own risk.

What’s the maximum weight limit for Allant+ FS?

Allant+ FS has a maximum system weight of 160kg (bike, rider, and cargo combined).

The bike itself weighs a little over 30kg, depending on model and size, and that includes the battery, rack, fenders, lights, and pedals.
