Get in-store credit for your old bike

Want to get a fair price on your old bike but don’t want to deal with the hassle of listing it online? We’ve partnered with Bicycle Blue Book, an online service that determines market value for used bikes, to help you get money for your old bike in the fastest, most convenient way possible. When you stop into one of our participating retailers and take advantage of our trade-in program, you’ll immediately receive in-store credit toward the purchase of a new bike.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Bring in your old bike for an evaluation.

Step 2: Check out our bike selection while a Trek employee uses Bicycle Blue Book to provide you with an immediate trade-in value

Step 3: Present your state-issued ID and sign a Proof of Ownership declaration to complete your trade-in.

Step 4: Get your in-store credit and pick out your new bike! We don’t offer credit for bikes valued under $50, but we can donate them to a good cause for you if you’d like.

Additional program qualifications:

Making a trade in offer is in the store manager’s sole discretion and is contingent on the customer purchasing one new bike. The in-store credit is only redeemable at the trade in location and must be used immediately for one new bike purchase. A trade-in credit cannot be applied to multiple new bike purchases. The determination of the final in-store credit shall be for the amount determined by the store manager or the value of the new bike purchased, whichever is less. The in-store credit may not be applied to any taxes or other fees. Refunds or exchanges of the new bike purchase shall be subject to the above terms.
