What bike platforms are included in Project One MTB?
Fuel Gen 7 (carbon and alloy), Fuel+ Gen 2 (carbon only) and Supercaliber Gen 2 (SLR carbon only)
Will other mountain bikes be joining the programme?
We are constantly evaluating bike platforms to add to the Project One MTB programme. As soon as new bike platforms are able to join, we'll release more information. Sign up for emails to be the first to know!
What colour schemes are available?
Each bike platform has its own set of three select paint schemes for you to choose from, rolling from stealthy and mellow to bold.
Will there be Signature or ICON colour options?
We're constantly evaluating options to add to the Project One MTB programme. As soon as new colours and schemes are available, we'll release more information. Sign up for emails to be the first to know!
What component options are available to choose from?
We've partnered with the industry's best brands, including RockShox, Fox, Maxxis, Pirelli, Race Face, ESI, Bontrager and more, to give you forks, shocks, wheels, tyres, handlebars, stems, grips, saddles and dropper posts options for your perfect build.
Can I spec a different sized dropper post, handlebar, stem or crank arm length?
Yes, different lengths and sizes are available for most components, such as dropper posts, bars, stems and cranks. You can even get a different length bar/stem combo on Supercaliber!
How do I place my Project One order?
Configure your dream bike on 'trekbikes.com/project-one-custom-mountain-bikes-explained' and place the order through a Trek retailer anywhere in the world.
Can I mix and match brakes and drivetrain.
You can fine-tune which brake rotors and callipers you'd like, but they must be made by the same manufacturer as the drivetrain you choose.
What coil spring rate options will there be?
We offer coil springs in 159, 181, 204, 226, 259 kg options.
Can I opt out of a specific component if I already have what I want at home?
Not at this time.
Can I get frame set only?
For the most part – yes. With the exception of e-bikes, all of our MTBs can be purchased as a frame only.
