Shimano has issued an inspection and replacement programme of some bonded 11-speed HOLLOWTECH II road cranksets produced before July 2019 for a possible bonding separation issue. If you have a bike that might be affected, bring it in to a participating Trek retailer for inspection. Any cranks that fail inspection will be replaced for free by Shimano.
