Wheel and tyre questions
The FX Sport AL 3 is made for 700c wheels and tyres up to 42 mm wide (with and without mudguards).
The FX Sport 3 AL does not come with tubeless compatible wheels and tyres.
Rear spacing is 135 mm x 5 mm and the front is 100 mm x 5 mm.
Drivetrain questions
For the 1x configuration, the maximum chain ring is 44T. While there is no minimum recommendation, running too small of a front chain ring may cause interference with the chain stay.
Yes. The frame will accept a 34.9 mm low band clamp-style bottom pull front derailleur. Max chain ring sizes on a 2x set-up are 46/32.
CUES drivetrains utilise Shimano’s LINKGLIDE technology to greatly reduce drivetrain wear compared to non-LINKGLIDE components – up to triple the durability. LINKGLIDE also enables smoother shifting, both up and down the cassette.
Component questions
It has rack and mudguard mounts, as well as low rider rack mounts on the fork. It also has frame bag mounts under the top tube. Depending on bike size and frame bag used, you will probably need to use straps to secure the bag in addition to bolts. It also has mounts for a rear mount kickstand (562609) or (W330289).
