Diamant 141 FAQ

How are the frame sizes measured in centimeters?

We measure the frame size as the distance from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube. We recommend that all our customers take a test ride and seek professional advice from our dealers.

What drivetrain does the Diamant 141 have?

Which wheels are fitted to the Diamant 141?

The 141 comes with Bontrager Affinity rims, featuring slightly taller profiles for added style and improved performance on every ride.

What tires is the Diamant 141 equipped with?

What is the story behind the Diamant 141?

“Energy that carries on” defines our theme for this year. The 141 is created to capture the feeling that makes cycling special. Its story begins with a simple impulse – the first push on the pedals. From that moment, energy turns into freedom, and movement becomes momentum. This vitality is reflected in its striking paintjob. Produced in a limited edition, the 141 embraces character, bold design, and the courage to stand out.

What are collection bikes?

Collection bikes are limited-edition models that showcase Diamant at its most creative. They serve as a journey through our rich history or as an exploration of contemporary trends. While they are always based on current existing frames, they stand out significantly from regular models. Collection bikes are developed in creative workshops, bringing together product management, design, and marketing. Unlike regular bikes, which prioritize technology and utility, a collection bike is born from a story.

For how long can I get spare parts for collection bikes?

We are committed to supporting our collection bikes within our standard service period. Most components are standard parts and can be sourced through our regular supply chain for 2 to 5 years, depending on the component and manufacturer. In some cases, parts (e.g. from Shimano or Gates) may need to be ordered via their local distributors. Only a few model-specific parts, such as the frame, were produced exclusively for this bike.

When did Diamant start making collection bikes?

Diamant introduced its first collection bikes in 2010 with the Pacer 125 and the Topas 125. There was no model released in 2011, but since 2012, Diamant has developed a new collection bike every year.

Why are collection bikes limited?

Each year, our collection bikes explore a unique theme and tell a self-contained story. We intentionally design bikes that stand out – sometimes in a bold or provocative way. To enhance their value as collector’s items, production is limited. If a concept process successful, it may inspire a new regular model, as was the case with the Diamant Nhoma (collection bike 137, 2022).

How does a collection bike differ from regular models?

Collection bikes are distinguished by their striking design – whether through bold colors, special paint finishes, or unique graphics. But they are more than just eye-catchers: each model tells a story. For example, we collaborated with a yoga instructor on the Diamant 137, partnered with an outdoor chef for the 138, co-designed the 139 with one of Germany’s most successful DJs, and created an extraordinary Moonrider with the Diamant 140 for our 140th anniversary.
