Charter+ is an all-new e-bike frame platform with a highly integrated design — including internal cable routing for a clean look and easier maintenance. An elevated chainstay protects the chain or belt and simplifies service, while the integrated chainguard and motor mount complete the premium aesthetic.
Charter+ low-step models average 67lb (30.4 kg). Stepover models average 70 lb (31.8 kg).
The total weight limit — bike, rider, and cargo combined — is 300 lb/136 kg. Do not exceed this limit when riding with a child passenger on the MIK HD rack.

Charter+ is compatible with the Bosch eBike Flow app (App Store and Google Play). Features include theft protection, advanced navigation, and motor tuning.

Trek recommends completing regular updates over-the-air using the Bosch eBike Flow app. In the app, riders can simply download new ebike functions and transfer them directly to their ebike via Bluetooth.

Yes. All models feature a magnetic battery cover and a top-eject removable/lockable battery. For replacements, visit an authorized Trek retailer. Retailers can submit warranty claims for Bosch e-system components via QBP.
Only the Charter+ 4S can be upgraded. Other models use the Bosch PowerTube 800Wh, the largest available Bosch battery.
No. Charter+ is not compatible with range extenders.
Yes. Spare keys are available through the lock manufacturer, ABUS. They’ll need the key code printed on a card that’s included with the bike. The key code is also stored in the remote and can be accessed by an authorized Trek retailer in the Diagnostic Tool 3, or by the rider using the eBike Flow app.
Accessory Compatibility
Yes. Charter+ includes a kickstand, rear MIK HD rack, front and rear lights, extruded alloy fenders, and mounts for a water bottle or foldable lock.
The rear rack is compatible with all MIK accessories and pannier bags.
Yes. The maximum weight rating for the rear rack on the Charter+ is 60 lb/27 kg.
Yes. Charter+ uses a bolt-on rear axle and is compatible with trailers designed for a standard QR rear axle interface.
Yes. Use a car rack with a minimum capacity of 75 lb/34 kg. Avoid racks that secure over the top of the tires, as the fenders can interfere with attachment.
Yes. Charter+ supports digital theft protection through the Bosch eBike Flow app, the Bosch Connect Module, or an Apple® AirTag®.
• The Bosch eBike Flow app functions as a digital key, deactivates motor support, locks the battery, and includes a bike alarm.
• The Bosch Connect Module installs within the non-drive side motor cover and allows remote locking and charge-status review without being near the bike. Trek recommends that this is installed by an authorized retailer.
• All models include a dedicated pouch inside the motor cover for storing an Apple® AirTag®.
