Like apparel, the entire helmet category will be rebranded to Trek. The Solstice bike helmet is one of the first helmets to launch under the Trek brand.

How long will the transition take?

To accommodate sell-through of existing Bontrager products, the transition to the Trek brand will take multiple years. Helmets are being rebranded and released in phases. What type of bike helmet technology does Trek Solstice feature?

Trek Solstice bike helmet features an expanded polstyrene ("EPS") liner. EPS is a crushable, energy-absorbing foam used in many bike helmets, this material is designed to help absorb linear energy when the helmet is impacted.

Are the helmet pads replaceable?

Yes, the helmet pads are replaceable. Replacement pads can be ordered on Trekbikes.com.

Are the helmet pads washable?

The helmet pads can be washed by carefully rinsing by hand in lukewarm water and air drying at room temperature.

What type of fit system does Solstice use?

The Solstice features a Headmaster 3 fit system, which allow the rider to easily adjust the fit of the helmet with one hand.

How does the adjustment dial work?

The Solstice features a Headmaster 3 fit system. Turn the dial clockwise to tighten, and counterclockwise to loosen. It's that simple!

What type of strap divider does Solstice use?

Trek Solstice features a LockDown divider that makes helmet strap management clean and easy to adjust.

What type of buckle does Solstice use?

The Solstice uses a standard bike helmet buckle to ensure a secure fit.

Is the helmet visor replaceable?

What colors are available?

Trek Solstice adult helmets are available in 3 color options: Black Gloss, Crystal White Gloss, and Radioactive Yellow Gloss.

Trek Solstice adult helmets are available in Small/Medium (51-58 cm) and Medium/Large (55-61 cm).

The Trek Solstice S/M size helmet weighs 295 grams and the M/L helmet weighs 325 grams.

What is the helmet made of?

The Trek Solstice helmet is made of numerous materials, consisting of a protective foam layer made of EPS and a polycarbonate shell. The remaining materials consist of various types of plastic.
