In our experience, this is the best full-powered motor out there.'Read more
'My first thought about the Rail 9.9 is how it resembles a new school American muscle car, with a ton of carbon fibre and lots of digitally integrated sensors, and as always, more power than its predecessor [...] If there was ever a bike that was ready for anything, the new generation of the Trek Rail 9.9 would be it.'Read more

The all-new Bosch Performance Line CX motor is lighter, smaller and quieter than previous versions, for cleaner integration and more nimble handling. It’s also more efficient so you can go further on a single battery charge. Use the intelligent eMTB mode to automatically adjust the amount of assist to match the terrain. It’s a set-and-forget mode that delivers just the right amount of power so you can focus on enjoying the ride.
Trek eMTBs feature a custom eMTB Lite mode in place of Tour mode. It gives you more natural-feeling power delivery and longer battery life.
