What is the difference between the current frame compared to the previous version?

- FX now shares a frame with Dual Sport but opts for speedier 700c wheels with pavement-specific tires vs Dual Sport’s multi-surface capable 27.5 wheels and knobbier tires
- Internal cable routing through the headtube for a clean aesthetic

What grade of aluminum is used on this bike?

Alpha Gold Aluminum

What is the fork made out of?

Steel

What type of bottom bracket does it use?

Threaded, 68mm width

What is the seatpost diameter?

27.2mm

What is the rear brake mount?

This model uses a flat mount disc brake with max 160mm rotors front and rear.

How many water bottle mounts are on the frame?

Two: one on the seat tube and one on the down tube.

Will there be a Stagger version?

Yes, the Stagger version is coming soon.

What is the wheel size?

FX is made for 700c wheels and tires up to 40mm wide (with and without fenders).

Are these bikes tubeless compatible? What additional parts are required?

No.

What is the hub spacing?

Rear spacing is 135mmx5mm and the front is 100mmx5mm.

What is the maximum chainring size? Minimum chainring size?

For the 1x configuration, the maximum chainring is 44T. While there is no minimum recommendation, running too small of a front chainring may cause interference with the chain stay.

Can I run a 2x?

Yes. The frame will accept a 34.9mm low band clamp-style bottom pull front derailleur. Max chainring sizes on a 2x setup are 46/32.

Does it have any accessory mounts (kickstand, racks, fenders, lights)?

It has rack and fender mounts, as well as low rider rack mounts on the fork. It also has frame bag mounts under the top tube for the Bontrager Adventure Boss frame bag (Available sizes - 5263832, 5263833, 5263834, 5263835, 5263836, 5263837).

It also has mounts for a rear mount kickstand (562609) or (W330289).

What lights are compatible?

Any standard front and rear lights will work.

Is it compatible with child seats?

No. The maximum weight rating for our rear rack mounts is 25kg.
