The world of Trek - Trek Bicycle's global offices

Born in Waterloo. Loved the world over.

Trek Bicycle started with five people in a Wisconsin barn, building silver-brazed steel touring frames. Today, we're a global community of cyclists, dreamers, and doers united by bikes and driven by possibility.

While our roots will always be in a small red barn in Waterloo, our branches now extend across the globe with offices in over 20 countries and a large portion of our workforce living and working outside of North America.

Where we work

We believe in showing up, not just shipping in. We’ve put down roots across the globe so we can connect with local riders and understand their roads, trails, and rides in a way that only comes from being there.

Here are just a few of our offices from around the globe

1. Waterloo, Wisconsin, United States

Our birthplace and global headquarters. Where it all began in 1976, and where we continue to dream up what's next.

2. Hartmannsdorf, Germany

We build more than half of all Trek and Diamant products sold across Europe at our Harmannsdorf factory. The factory employs over 400 people, including folks who have been there for over 40 years.

3. Wijchen, Netherlands

If you’re in Europe and have a Trek bike, chances are it came through our NCI distribution center in Wijchen.

4. Milton Keynes, UK

Just over fifty miles outside of London, Milton Keynes is home to the first Trek office we opened outside of the United States. It’s now home for our operations across the UK, Ireland, Poland, Czechia, and Slovakia.

5. São Paulo, Brazil

We opened our subsidiary office in Brazil in 2013, where our team works directly with local retailers — some of which have been with the brand for over 30 years.

6. Canberra, Australia

Canberra is home to Trek’s Asia-Pacific and Australia New Zealand support offices. Nestled in the nation’s bush capital, the team here supports retailers, riders, and regional operations, surrounded by world-class trails and a thriving cycling culture.

7. Beijing, China

In the heart of China’s capital, Trek China’s Beijing office is where tradition meets innovation. From historic hutong lanes to striking modern architecture, we connect riders and retail partners across the country.

Ask any Trek employee, anywhere in the world, what their favorite part of their job is, and you’ll almost always get the same answer: the people.

Bikes make a world of difference

We believe bikes are a simple solution to the world’s most complex problems. From local trail maintenance to global charity rides, we're committed to making cycling better for everyone, everywhere.

Trek Hope, Nordic region

In its first five years, this charity ride has gathered over 5,000 cyclists across the Nordic region to raise over $100,000 for cancer research.

Trash-free trails, United Kingdom

The Trek UK office has partnered with Trash Free Trails since 2019, helping to remove single-use pollution from local mountain bike trails.

Trek 100, US and China

The annual Trek 100 charity ride has raised over $22 million for cancer research in the United States and China.

NICA, United States

Trek is a major sponsor of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA), which helps more kids build strong minds, bodies, and communities through cycling.
