What is different about the platform compared to previous versions?

• Roscoe Gen 4 has updated geometry for improved standover clearance and longer dropper post insertion. Instead of a 130mm post being fully buried in the seat tube on a medium, most medium riders can now run a 170mm dropper post.
• A new, steeper seat tube angle keeps handling balanced and pedaling efficient.
• Roscoe’s new frame comes in five sizes instead of six. Because of the increased standover clearance, the reduced size run doesn’t limit rider fit, providing a bike for the same range of rider heights.
• A new bolt-on downtube guard improves durability and frame protection.
• Additional mounts are available under the top tube to store a tube, tool, or another bottle cage on larger sizes (when a frame bag is not installed).
• New zero-stack press-in headset cups allow for aftermarket angle-adjust compatibility
• All frame sizes feature one set of water bottle mounts on the downtube. To allow for improved dropper post insertion, there are no water bottle mounts on the seat tube.
• Increased fork travel to 150mm

Is it compatible with other wheel/tire sizes?

You’ll want to keep the stock wheels on the bike to keep the BB from getting too low. Sizes medium and larger have 29˝ wheels, while size small uses 27.5˝ wheels to provide more standover clearance. 

Is the small size compatible with a 29” front wheel if I replace the fork?

No, even though you can install a 160mm fork on the small size, you will still want to stick with a 27.5” front wheel.

Do any frame sizes feature curved top tubes for lower standover?

Nope! With the new geo and lower top tube, all of the frames across the size range feature a similar straight look.

What sizes are compatible with a water bottle?

With the frame bag installed, small frames will fit up to a 21oz bottle, and sizes medium and larger will fit up to a 26oz bottle.

Which models come tubeless?

Every model comes set up tubeless out of the box.

Does Roscoe have any frame storage, hidden tools, or other neat accessories?

All models include a new Roscoe Gen 4-specific storage bag. The frame bag comes in three sizes to seamlessly fit into the front triangle for each bike size.
