  • Frank Schleck wins Critérium International aboard Madone and Speed Concept
  • Andreas Klöden rides Speed Concept to Critérium International time trial victory
  • Fabian Cancellara crushes competition at E3 Harelbeke with Madone 6.9

Proving that some bikes work harder on the weekends, LEOPARD TREK and RadioShack dominated the pro peloton this past weekend. Frank Schleck shined throughout the Critérium International taking the mountain stage aboard his team-issue Trek Madone 6.9 and turning in a solid performance in the time trial to take the top step of Sunday’s podium. Critérium International is LEOPARD TREK’s first stage race win in its very young history.

The Speed Concept was working overtime thrugh the Criterium International and helped RadioShack's Andreas Kloden edge the competition by :04 in Sunday's time trial. After dismounting his Speed Concept 9.9, Kloden said of the race, "At the half way point, I knew that I was two seconds ahead of Wiggins, so in the last three kilometers, I gave it my all."

Not to be outdone by its aero-cousin, the Madone carried LEOPARD TREK’s Fabian Cancellara to a crushing 16 kilometer solo victory in the E3 Harelbeke while his teammate, Daniele Bennati, raced to a second place finish at Gent-Wevelgem. With such a dominating performance and the major Classics just around the corner, the next few weeks should be very interesting for the boys in the light blue stripes.
