Who is it for? 

The all-new District 1 and 2 are no-nonsense, low-maintenance hybrid bikes with all the features you need to just get on and go. They provide functional transportation within city limits for riders who want a get-around-town kind of bike that’s super easy to ride and maintain.    

What is different about the frame compared to previous versions? 

The third-generation all-new District frame features a new and contemporary look and feel with cable integration though the headtube.  

How are District 1 and 2 different from District 3 and 4?

Besides some spec differences, there are two main differences between these models. 

• District 1 and 2 use a ‘traditional’ chain and closed chain case combination as a drive train, while District 3 and 4 use a Gates Beltdrive. 

• District 1 and 2 have a P5 riding position, which is very upright and allows the most comfortable riding position. While District 3 and 4 offer a P4 riding position, positioning the rider in a more active posture on the bike.

What wheel and tyre size do District 1 and 2 have?

District 1 and 2 both use 700c wheels with 40 mm Bontrager H2 tyres. 

Do District 1 and 2 have Tubeless-Ready rims and tyres?

No. The rims and tyres on District are not ready to be ridden Tubeless. 

What rack is mounted on District?

All District models are equipped with a MIK (Mounting Is Key) rear rack.

Are lights included?

Yes. All District models are equipped with integrated head- and rear lights.   

Do District models have an adjustable stem?

The stem of District 1 is not adjustable. 

District 2 has an adjustable stem. 

What brakes do District models have?

Both District 1 and 2 have the Shimano C3000 roller brakes. 

Do District 1 and 2 have suspension seat posts?

NO. 
Only the District 2 has a suspension seat post. 
District 1, has a rigid seat post. But can be upgraded with any 31.6 mm suspension seat post like part number: 554223 / 554225.  

Do District 1 and 2 models have a suspension fork?

Yes. 
District 1, has a suspension fork.  
District 2, has a Forklight. A suspension fork with integrated lights.  

Do District 1 and 2 have a lock?

Yes. These District models have an ART certified Ring-lock.
