Difference vs previous models
What is the difference between the new District+ 1 and 2 compared to previous generation District+ 1 and 2?
The first and foremost improvement is an all-new frame with a contemporary look and feel and integrated cables through the headtube.
The second upgrade of both the District+ 1 and 2 is the use of an all-new Bosch Smart System Compact PowerTube 400 Wh. This battery is non-removable, and it enabled us to design a slim frame with a fully integrated battery in the downtube.

District+ 1 and 2 have 27.5” wheels with Bontrager H2 Comp 2.0 tyres.
Do the District+ 1 and 2 have Tubeless-ready rims and tyres?
No. The rims and tyres on District+ 1 and 2 are not ready to be ridden tubeless.

What rack is mounted on the District+ 1 and 2?
It’s equipped with an MIK (Mounting is Key) rear rack and MIK Side.
Are lights included?
Yes. All District+ models are equipped with integrated head- and rear lights.
Do the District+ 1 and 2 have an adjustable stem?
Yes, both the District+1 and 2 have an adjustable stem to allow riders their most comfortable riding position.
What brakes do District+ 1 and 2 have?
Both bikes have the Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes.
Do District+ 1 and 2 have a suspension seatpost?
• Only the District+2 has a suspension seatpost.
• District+ 1 has a rigid seatpost but can be upgraded with any 31.6mm suspension seatpost like partnumber: 554223 / 554225.
Do District+ 1and 2 have a suspension fork?
No, District+1 is equipped with a rigid fork.
Yes, District+ 2 is equipped with a suspension fork.
Do District+ models have a lock?
Yes. All District+ models have an ART-certified Ring-lock.

What is the battery capacity?

Can the battery be removed?
The 400 Wh integrated battery can only be removed by a certified Trek mechanic.
Can a second battery be added to increase my battery capacity and range?
Yes, the District+1 and 2 are compatible with the new Bosch PowerMore that allows you to add an extra 250 Wh battery to the downtube.
