What should I know about the frame?

The Domane+ ALR features a durable and economical aluminium frame made with lower-impact aluminium and designed specifically for the TQ mid-motor.

What is the geometry?

Compared to the H1.5 geometry found on Madone and Émonda, Domane+ ALR’s Endurance Geometry features a taller head tube and longer wheelbase to maximise comfort and stability.

What is the maximum tyre size?

Recommended tyre clearance standards for this model have changed. Accurate values can be found in the specs on each bike model page.

Max rotor size?

180 mm front, 160 mm rear

What is the hub spacing?

100x12 mm front, 142x12 mm rear.

Max chainring size?

46T

What kind of bottom bracket?

The TQ HPR60 motor has an integrated bottom bracket and Isis spindle.

Is it compatible with 30 mm spindle cranks?

No, this model is not compatible with 30 mm spindle cranks.

Does it have accessory mounts?

Yes! It has mounts for a rear rack and mudguards. Sizes S-XL also have mounts for the Adventure Triangle Bag.

Do these bikes come tubeless-ready?

Yes – all Domane+ ALR bikes come with tubeless-ready wheels, tyres, valves and TLR sealant.

What is the motor power/output?

The Domane+ ALR’s TQ HPR60 motor provides 350 watts max power output.

How do I change assist levels?

You can easily toggle through assist levels with hood-mounted controls that let you keep your hands on the bars.

What type of charger does it come with? How long does it take to charge the battery?

It comes with a TQ 2-amp charger which charges fully in approximately 3.75 hours.

How much does the battery weigh?

1,835 g

Is the battery removable? What if I need to replace it?

It is only removable by a trained technician. Please see your local Trek retailer for replacement batteries.

What is the range?

The range of this bike varies significantly depending on many factors such as rider weight, assist level, tyre choice, riding surface, terrain and more. With that in mind, you can expect up to 60 miles/97 km with the internal battery and up to 90 miles/145 km with the optional Range Extender.

What is the warranty for the e-system, and how do I file a claim?

There is a two-year warranty on the hub motor and battery. All warranty claims should be processed through your local Trek retailer.

Is there a Range Extender battery?

Yes! There is a TQ Range Extender available that will mount on the downtube or seat tube in a bottle cage.

Do you need different size cables for mounting it on specific-size bikes?

There is a specific cable that works for all sizes on road bikes. 325 mm long

Can I use the Trek Central app with this e-bike?

Yes! You can easily connect Trek Central to Domane+ ALR for additional features like motor tuning and range estimation.
