Trek is committed to outfitting the world’s best riders with the world’s best bikes as they compete in the world’s toughest races. New for 2009, Trek World Racing’s roster of world-class riders is poised to stand atop the podium at any stop on the World Cup circuit.
Owned and operated by 23 Degrees, with Trek as title sponsor, the Trek World Racing team is one of the first World Cup teams to combine both cross-country athletes and downhill athletes into one highly competitive squad.
With a schedule that includes over thirty stops on four continents, the 2009 TWR race calendar will give race fans the world around plenty of riveting action. Follow along with the Parkin brothers’ frequent video releases and news from each event. And if you happen to be in attendance, be sure to stop by the pits to meet the team and see the bikes.

The choice for every World Cup course that involves some degree of technical difficulty, the Top Fuel is the lightest and stiffest platform Trek has made yet. Built to spec, this race machine weighs just over 20lbs using the same production frame available today.
Built to race spec, this Session 88 weighs in at less than 38 lbs. It’s the same Session 88 frame you can buy today, but with custom Trek World Racing team-edition hounds-tooth paint and graphics. Each team rider has his or her specific race-tuned options, but we can’t give away all the secrets
For races like short track or climbing-intensive courses, the hardtail still lives. It’s still the lightest weapon a racer can choose, and it’s quite possibly the stiffest frames around—ask Liam Killeen! Like all team race bikes, it’s the same bike you can buy off the floor today, just with team edition paint.
