You live for rowdy lines, big hits and fast descents. You expect your trail bike to be agile enough to flick around tight corners and light enough to rip up the mountain as well as fly down it. You know a great frame and high-quality shock translate to a far better experience on the trail.
The tech you get
A strong and light full OCLV Mountain Carbon frame with Carbon Armour, Mino Link adjustable geometry, 150 mm of rear travel with a FOX Factory Float EVOL shock with Trek's exclusive RE:aktiv with Thru Shaft damper, 35 mm Bontrager Line Pro stem and an integrated Knock Block headset. Built for 27.5˝ wheels.
The final word
You have serious trail rides in your future, and they're going to be fast and fun. With Remedy C, you're getting all the benefits of a trail-tough carbon frame plus a high-quality shock with Trek's exclusive RE:aktiv with Thru Shaft damper, which reacts to changes in the trail faster than any other shock on the market.
favorite_borderWhy you'll love it
- 'Wait for me', said no Remedy rider ever – This bike has a lot of travel, but it's also extremely quick on the flats and climbs
- RE:aktiv with Thru Shaft works faster than a normal shock, so it tracks the ground better and keeps you in control
- Mino Link lets you make small adjustments to your geometry quickly and easily, even mid-ride
- Wider is more stable: Remedy has clearance for up to 27.5x2.8˝ tyres
"I was blown away"
"I was blown away at how stiff the new Remedy is. Just right for aggressive trail riding. The sum of the parts adds up to a greatly refined bike, but perhaps the biggest story is the increased value."

"There might be similar bikes out there, but Trek’s suspension is worth paying for. This bike smooths junk out better than anything I’ve ridden before."

Active Braking Pivot allows our engineers to tune how the suspension reacts to acceleration and braking forces independently. That means you get more confident control when you need it most.
Trek's Straight Shot frame design optimises the stiffness-to-weight ratio for a more responsive ride. You'll be able to push harder and stay more planted on your line when the going gets rough.
RE:aktiv with Thru Shaft gives you unmatched grip and control with a shock that reacts to the terrain faster than anything else out there.
Trek's mountain-specific carbon fibre is tougher carbon, with unique materials and lay-up procedures, Trek's advanced engineering, and a higher standard of testing.
Learn moreWill my bike have a curved top tube?
Smaller frames (S) have a top tube that dips down as it approaches the seat tube. This design makes for a lower standover height, which is good for shorter riders because it allows them to straddle their bike more easily. The larger frames (M and ML) have a straight top tube because taller riders with longer legs typically don’t have the same issues with standover height.

Mino Link adjustable geometry
Fine tune head tube angle by 1/2° and BB height by up to 10mm with the simple turn of a nut. Just flip the link to choose between slack or slacker geometry, without negatively affecting suspension performance. A Trek exclusive.

Control Freak cable management
The lightest, quietest, most versatile cable management system allows any combination of shift, brake, lockout and dropper post lines to be routed through the frame for clean looks and the ultimate custom set-up.
Boost148/110
Wider dropouts (110mm front, 148mm rear) give you the stiffness of a 27.5" wheel with all the benefits of a 29" wheel, and Boost148 at the back lets you run wider tyres and a larger chain ring without affecting q-factor and pedalling efficiency.
