The 720Wh battery has a range up to 65 miles. Actual range varies based on terrain, assist level, and total load.

How long does it take to charge the battery?

The battery will charge to 80% in about 4 hours, and 100% in about 5.5 hours. A replacement charger (SKU 5352513) can be ordered online or at an authorized Trek retailer.

Is the battery removable and replaceable?

Yes. Spare keys are available through the lock manufacturer, ABUS. They’ll need the key code printed on a card that’s included with the bike. The key code is also stored in the remote and can be accessed by an authorized Trek retailer.

Yes, Borrego+ includes a kickstand, rear MIK HD rack rated for a child seat, front and rear lights, fenders, and accessory mounts on the head tube and battery cover. The mounts on the head tube are compatible with the Electra MIK Front Tray (SKU 5353284).

The rear rack is compatible with all MIK accessories and pannier bags.
