The 2013 Fuel EX moves to 130mm of efficient, capable travel, expanding its capabilities without sacrificing its light, nimble character.
-
Smooth, controlled braking
Our patented ABP (Active Braking Pivot) keeps your suspension from stiffening up when you're on the brakes, giving you confident, steady control.

More control, times two
Fox shock and fork both feature Trek DRCV (Dual Rate Control Valve) suspension technology for smooth, predictable control on all types of terrain.
-
Spirited legacy
Fuel EX has won hearts, minds, and Bike of the Year. It continues to raise the bar on just how much one bike can do.
It is truly the most capable all-around bike that I have ever experienced. It's as good in the six day stage race as it is cleaning that rocky section of trail that makes you sweat just looking at it.

The Ultimate Trail Burner… With the new DRCV on the rear shock, the pedaling is even more efficient on this bike while retaining a smooth, bottomless feel. The part spec is awesome and looks the part. Add all this together with the world's best carbon, and you have the ultimate trail bike.

What people are saying /
The new Fuel is a technical singletrack specialist. It's quick, low to the ground, and can handle roots, rocks, and other obstacles while still carving with precision. It's hard to believe one can descend with this much confidence in a sub 25lb bike.

The Fuel EX 8 excels all over the hill and is the best all-around trail bike we've ever ridden.
