The all-new Madone 5 Series is a true pro-level performance road bike, packed with race-ready features like OCLV Carbon, super-aero shape, and impeccable integration.

500 Series OCLV

500 Series OCLV achieves a superb balance of light weight, strength, and stiffness that's perfectly suited to the sophisticated frame technologies that distinguish Trek frames.

Integrated brakes

Super-aero brakes are integrated into the frame for minimum drag and maximum efficiency. And eliminating the mounting plates and bolts saves weight.

Brakeless seatstay

Madone's integrated brakes allowed us to redesign the seatstay, eliminating the brake bridge and removing reinforcing layers to shed weight without compromising performance.

KVF tube shape

We’ve optimized our revolutionary KVF tube shape to give you the stiffness and comfort you expect from Madone in an even lighter, more aero package.

KVF head tube

Super-aero head tube is optimized at the leading and trailing edges for minimum drag.

KVF fork

Aero fork legs minimize drag, while ride-tuned sweep increases compliance and lateral stiffness for ultimate comfort and precise handling.

Ride Tuned seatmast

Our no-cut Ride Tuned seatmast is designed for the rigors of pro peloton racing. It offers maximum adjustability and ultimate comfort, however rough the roads or hard the riding.

Internal cable routing

Shift and brake cables are routed through the frame for the lightest, cleanest, best cable management ever.

Electronic drivetrain integration

No zip ties, no electrical tape, just the cleanest electronic drivetrain integration available on a road bike.

BB90

BB90 is the widest bottom bracket available on a road bike. This Trek-exclusive carbon BB makes the frame lighter, stiffer, and quicker to accelerate.

Direct-mount front derailleur

Provides accurate shifting in a lightweight, minimal package.

DuoTrap compatible

DuoTrap seamlessly integrates the computer sensor into the frame to measure speed, distance, and cadence with no added aerodynamic drag.

3S integrated chain keeper

Our 3S chain keeper is integrated directly into the bike frame. It's an elegant solution that provides flawless shifting even on rough roads and under heavy loads.

E2 asymmetric steerer

Trek’s E2 asymmetric fork/steering tube provides lateral rigidity for precision cornering, and offers vertical compliance to absorb road imperfections.

E2 head tube and fork

E2 head tube tapers from a 1.5" lower to a 1-1/8" upper, placing more material where it matters most for the lateral rigidity of a 1.5" system without the added weight.

Pro Tour-tested geometry

The perfect balance of handling, comfort, and acceleration. Does everything well, and has the race legacy to prove it.
