Senior JDE Financial Analyst

Description

1. Support the efforts of the financial staff in their daily business process functions. Resolve functional problems within the JDE application. Configure the JDE global tables as needed to support Trek practices. Suggest and validate appropriate security controls for the various ERP toolsets.

2. Promote improvement in the JDE toolset though the investigation and design of enhancements or new usages of standard functionality. Design appropriate testing scripts and documentation to validate new development efforts in the JDE application.

3. Investigate alternative solutions and suggest process improvements to the IT and business steering committees.

4. Create, maintain, and utilize user training documentation to increase the efficiency and productivity of the business users.

5. Create, maintain and utilize appropriate documentation for all support functions with connection to the JDE support functions. Investigate, through Oracle support, user group participation, and inter-company networking, new opportunities for increased efficiencies with the JDE toolset, including any potential upgrades or add-ons to the current JDE EnterpriseOne XE version.

Job Specifications:

* B.S. degree in a finance related field or equivalent experience. 4-6 years of total business experience, including at least 3 years of JDE EnterpriseOne XE support in an analytical role. Demonstrated functional excellence in at least 3 of the following JDE modular areas: A/P, A/R, General Accounting, Cost Accounting. 

* Thorough understanding of business operations and systems integration with business processes, including the ability to effectively communicate these relationships to end users and other support staff.

* Must have the ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience. Must have demonstrated ability to perform within a team environment, specifically including the ability to enhance and promote the performance of immediate team members while still effectively completing personal assigments and tasks.
