Why Madone 4 Series /
Completely redesigned for 2012, Trek's best-selling Madone gets even better, pairing race-level performance with all-day comfort.
The 4 Series puts Madone's Tour-winning pedigree within reach. Perfect for the rider who values performance and demands value.
Highlights /
-
Better performance
New technologies including BB90, all-new Bontrager RL fork, and 6 Series-inspired frame offer 20% more stiffness and eliminate 150 grams from the fuselage.
-
Amazingly light
At 1100 grams, the all-new 4 Series is the lightest entry-level race bike Trek has ever built.
-
Faster acceleration
An updated BB90 bottom bracket offers instant acceleration, and strips an additional 40 grams from the already class leading platform.
-
Loaded with technology
BB90, E2 head tube, DuoTrap, all-new RL fork—4 Series is loaded with more technology than any other bike in its class.
My BF bought me my first road bike last Dec. and it is the Madone 4.5 and I LOVE it. Very comfortable and oh so light, I'm a happy girl:)

Just ordered my Trek Madone 4.5 and can't wait to get it. Cashed in all my AMEX points from the last 15 years! Points well spent.

Madone 4.5 is my first road bike in YEARS, and boy am I impressed. The ride is nimble and crisp, with pedal power going right to the rear tire. This bike is the best I test rode in my price range, other manufactures products just don't have the fit and handling like the Madone`

What people are saying /
This 4.7 is my first road bike and what a great decision i made! I researched for months..Specialized, Cannondale, Trek, Jamis, Scott, to name a few. FOR ME this was the most comfortable and "bang for the buck" entry level carbon framed bike.

Me and my new Madone 4.5 WSD. My 25lb weight loss gift to me (I had been cycling on an old 10 year old hybrid bike since April and am addicted to cycling now).
