Road: Astana Cycling Team in Amstel Gold Race and Tour de Georgia

Next Sunday, Astana Cycling Team defends its leader’s position in the UCI ProTour Team Ranking. The Team starts well motivated in the Amstel Gold Race.

One day later, another Astana Cycling Team starts in the 6th Tour de Georgia. Levi Leipheimer, earlier this season already winner of the Tour of California, aims to do the same in this eight-day race. Last year Levi Leipheimer was already the best in two stages in the Tour de Georgia. The winner of the first edition of this race was Astana’s Chris Horner (2003).
