Thank you for becoming a member of the Trek family when you recently purchased a girls’ MT220 bicycle. A small number of these bicycles were made with a frame that was welded incorrectly. You can see a similar bicycle pictured on this letter. If the weld fails, the rider could fall, and possibly be seriously injured. Your safety is very important to us. Therefore, Trek will off er you a free replacement bicycle.
