Tim Don's Olympic hopes hang in the balance after a crash at the weekend in the ITU World Cup race in Beijing. In order to cement his place on the Olympic squad, Tim was looking for a 3rd place or higher but on the first lap of the bike section a wheel touching incident ahead of him brougt him down hard, puncturing his front tyre and fracturing his elbow. Tim is already back in England and having specialist attention on his arm.
It is an unfair end to Tim's season as he sought Olympic qualification.
