Road: Tour of California: Leipheimer Wins Time Trial, Extends Lead

Levi Leipheimer added to his overall Tour of California lead by winning Stage Five’s Solvang individual time trial. The last man out of the starting house, Leipheimer blasted through the 15 mile course in 30:47, besting second place David Miller (Slipstream-Chipotle) by 29 seconds, and posting the only sub 31:00 time of the day.
