Trek: Trek's Atrium: A History of Innovation, A Legacy of Victory

With Discovery Channel rider Alberto Contador’s recent Tour de France victory, Trek can place yet another TdF-winning bicycle in its corporate headquarters’ atrium. To bike enthusiasts, it’s a priceless museum—walls lined with some of the most innovative bikes in history. Two early Gary Fisher models show why he’s rightfully considered the first and last name in mountain biking. Two of LeMond’s TdF-winning bikes align one side of the atrium, demonstrating the technical savvy and innovation Greg LeMond brought to the European peloton. Seven of Lance’s bikes, laid-out in chronological order, align the opposite wall. Lance’s contribution to American cycling goes without saying. Less then a week after Contador took the final podium, his all-new Madone takes center stage and joins the ranks of these historic rides.
