Trek Bicycle is proud to partner with Anthill Films for the world premiere of the game-changing film Strength in Numbers. As part of their continued effort to grow and share the sport of mountain biking around the world, Trek will be supporting the film’s premiere on April 20th, 2012 at the Sea Otter Classic as well as showings of the film around North America. Strength in Numbers is an unprecedented collaboration with Anthill Films and Red Bull Media House in telling the story of different people around the world being united in their love of mountain biking.
The highly-anticipated release features Trek C3 Project athletes Brandon Semenuk, Cam McCaul, and Ryan Howard shredding the legendary Aptos, California Post Office jumps, and Andrew Shadnro and Rene Wildhaber exploring the breathtaking, high-elevation singletrack of Nepal. Whistler ripper and Trek Session 9.9 shredder Adam Billinghurst is also featured, as well as Trek World Racing athlete and 2011 World Cup downhill phenomenon Aaron Gwin.
To promote the film’s release, Trek will be giving away a pair of tickets to the premiere of the film every hour on the hour from the Strength in Numbers booth at the Sea Otter Classic. The premiere will give fans the opportunity to meet many of the high-profile Trek personalities featured in the film.
Together with Anthill Films and Pinkbike, Trek is also presenting the winner of Pinkbike’s Video of the Year contest with a custom Session 9.9 at the premiere, where the winning filmmaker’s video will be shown before the premiere of Strength in Numbers. The custom Session 9.9 is hand-painted with a Strength in Numbers theme, making it truly unique.
