Across three continents and six countries, the Trek Madone 6.9 SSL and Speed Concept 9.9 proved this week that they are the preferred bikes of champions around the world by winning eight national championship titles.

Team RadioShack will be riding with three national championship jerseys with Matt Busche starting the trend by taking the stars in stripes in a thrilling finish at the US National Championships in Greenville, SC. His teammate, Fumiyuki Beppu followed suit in Japan by winning both his country’s time trial and road race while his Slovenian counterpart, Jani Brajkovic, raced to his nation’s TT championship aboard the Speed Concept 9.9.

Not to be outdone, The LEOPARD TREK team raced to three national championships throughout Europe. World time trial champion, Fabian Cancellara, showed his versatility by taking the Swiss national road title aboard his team-issue Madone 6.9 SSL. In neighboring Germany, Robert Wagner will be wearing the black, red, and orange of his country as the national road champion. Teammate Frank Schleck repeated his 2010 performance in the Luxembourg road race to retain the champion’s jersey for another year.

Another US champion who earned his title this week was Matthew Brown of the Trek-LIVESTRONG U23 team, who claimed the U23 time trial stars and stripes jersey aboard the Speed Concept 9.9.
